Visual Arts
Students will be introduced to various artists and art careers and will engage in activities to support this learning. Art at CCA is designed for students to develop and nurture a love for art. Art experiences will be positive and assignments will be set up so that students will find success as well as learn and be individually challenged based on their personal skill level. Students will work with a variety of art materials and will build on skills developed in elementary art to create two and three-dimensional artwork. All art experiences will follow the theme of a Christian worldview and follow the notion that God is the ultimate artist.
