Similar to what many churches do through small groups such as “community groups”, UKnight Groups serve as a time for relationship building, Bible study, and prayer. Students in 6th-8th and 9th-12th grades are put into groups of 8-10 students who meet with a faculty member about twice a month. During this time, groups review recent chapel studies and make life application, gather prayer requests, and often spend some time just socializing or playing a group game. Students are challenged to use the time between meetings to follow up on prayer requests, encourage one another, and continue building Christ-centered relationships.

In keeping with our belief that discipleship is primarily the role of the parent and that we at the Academy are partners in that pursuit, we have provided the book “Family Discipleship” by Matt Chandler and Adam Griffin for each of our enrolled families. This book that focuses on “time, moments, and milestones” in your home is an invaluable resource.
To accompany the book, a series of videos was created by the Academy to guide parents through their study of the book.
